Ongoing IT issues

We were alerted to a serious IT outage on the evening of Monday 17 October which initially affected a number of our IT systems. We have been working with our suppliers round the clock to resolve the problems encountered and virtually all online systems are now back up and running including the most critical student services. However, problems persist with access to a small proportion of our shared data drives.

Our focus now is on the restoration of stored data, but due to the sheer volume of data generated and stored by our student and staff community, this will take some time. We will undertake a full review to understand what happened and consider what action we need to take as necessary. Students and staff can continue to find updated information on our Q&A page and IT Systems twitter feed.

King’s Apply is now available for use

Application deadlines that fell on Monday 31 October have been extended to midnight (GMT) on Monday 7 November.
