Equality

Dedicated to Equality;
Celebrating Diversity

Our aims and aspirations

King's is committed to promoting and developing equality of opportunity in all areas of its work. This involves embedding equality and diversity issues into every aspect of the College’s activities.

These pages set out our equalities policies and plans, which give our aspirations and how we intend to achieve them. They also detail the equality activities we have put in place to do so. Translating our policy commitments into everyday practice involves monitoring, review, training and consultation, which will benefit and involve everyone within the College.

Who does what

The remit of Equality and Diversity resides within the Governance Support Team in Academic Services. The Team is responsible for the College's compliance with legislation in this area, and provides training, advice and policy support.

The College also has a dedicated Disability & Dylsexia Support Team in Student Services that provides information and support to staff and students with disabilities.
