Study Abroad / Socrates and Elective programmes
King’s College London currently has around 19,800 students, of which 4,600 are from outside the United Kingdom.Students entering King’s College London under the Study Abroad/Socrates/Elective or similar programme are eligible to apply for housing although availability and choice may be limited.
Places at Liberty and the Intercollegiate halls are usually only available for the full session; however, applicants coming for the second and third semesters may make a direct application (this applies to the Intercollegiate halls only).
Please note that accommodation is not guaranteed and a premium may be charged if your course dates do not correspond to the standard College semester dates.
Application deadlines
Study Abroad students starting in September are required to apply for accommodation by 30 June; those starting in January, by 30 November.
How to apply
You can apply for accommodation via the My Digs Online Application Facility or alternatively download a paper copy of the application form (pdf, 155 KB).

In order to access the online application, you will need to enter the username and password provided by your School Office at King’s. These login details will be provided within the offer letter confirming your place of study at the College.
