Featured Venue: Strand Campus

King's College London was established by royal charter in 1829, and the Strand Campus is the College's founding site.

The campus is currently undergoing a multi-million pound redevelopment which has transformed the Grade 1 Listed Building on the Strand. As a result of the redevelopment, the College won a prestigious Green Gown Award. The award recognised the ‘reduced energy and carbon emissions from a sustainable refurbishment of the historic South Range of the King's Building'.

The Strand Campus offers excellent facilities for meetings, conferences, receptions and catered functions.

In the newly developed South Range there is a state-of-the-art 250 capacity Lecture Theatre, equipped with excellent audio-visual facilities*. Adjacent to this are several spacious seminar rooms – perfect for workshop/breakout space.

For more intimate meetings you could use the Council Room, which seats 45 boardroom or 60 theatre style. This is a grand room, where you will be sharing space with the portraits of former King’s academics and British Peers including Arthur Wellesley, the 1st Duke of Wellington.

The Great Hall, with its impressive columns and large sash windows, is an ideal location in which to hold a formal dinner or drinks reception. The Great Hall can seat up to 120 people cabaret style or 200 theatre style. It is also perfectly suited for standing drink and canapé receptions for up to 200.
