Applying - enrolled students

Enrolled Students A quota of places in each residence is allocated to returning students each year. You are classified as a returning student if you have already studied for a year or more at King's College London.

Full time undergraduate students

All full time undergraduate students with a home address outside the M25 ring road, entering the College for the first time, on a programme of two or more years, are guaranteed the offer of a place in either a College, Liberty or Intercollegiate residence (although not necessarily their first year), provided they apply on-time in the appropriate form.

Therefore if you have not already spent a year in residence and you will be in your final year of study you will be eligible to apply for a place.

Other returning students may apply but will have lower priority depending on the number of years in residence. The majority of returning students will find accommodation in the private rented sector.

Already in residence

If you are in Residence but are having problems you should talk to your Residence Manager and think about relevant additional support. In some circumstances you may wish to consider requesting early termination of your Residence Agreement.

If you are in Residence and you are withdrawing from your programme of study at King's you should notify Accommodation Services; your Residence Office will supply you with the appropriate form.
