Information Development and Analysis
The team comprises Students and Education Support and Human Resources Information Specialists who work horizontally across both departments.
We supply student and workforce information to support operational and strategic planning processes. Reporting is enhanced by our knowledge of key statistical information used by external stakeholders such as the Higher Education Statistics Agency and Higher Education Funding Council for England. Reporting is underpinned by the development of web and electronic technologies to support delivery of analysis and information collection.
The team deliver a number of client focused services that include:

Student number analysis (e.g. Admissions data, enrolment data, marketing data)

Workforce planning information (e.g. reports on probation end dates, absence, workforce movement, information to support succession planning)

Delivery and management of statutory reports to Government agencies (HESA, HEFCE, TDA)

Coding and setup of programme and module information in the student system

Management of Human Resource's web presence

Project management

Overseeing information security in HR

Overseeing access to the HR/Payroll system for non-finance employees

Driving development of HR centric developments in HR/Payroll database
