Equality and Diversity Essentials
This is a one-day interactive workshop for all staff covering the fundamental aspects of equality and diversity.
The workshop explores the legislative framework and individual and organisational rights and responsibilities; understanding discrimination and identifying barriers affecting different groups of people.
Course Objectives
Participants will:

gain an increased awareness of equality and diversity topics, terminology and models of discrimination

become familiar with the legislative framework

gain an understanding of the range of responsibilities placed on public bodies

examine scenarios and share good practice across the College.
