Partnerships

Central London Partnership (CLP)

The Central London Partnership (CLP) is a generic Aimhigher partnership, active in the London boroughs of Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Camden and Islington. Through its involvement with the CLP, King’s runs a range of activities and events for schools and colleges in these boroughs.

Partnership Aims

The aim of the CLP is ‘to effect change which will increase participation in higher education amongst young people from under-represented groups in Central London who wish to do so through working in partnership’.

The CLP is led by the University of Westminster and is made up of ten partner universities including King’s. It runs the flagship Focus scheme to train student ambassadors across the partnership.

King’s ambassadors trained through the Focus scheme work with Aimhigher co-ordinators in the CLP boroughs on many school and college events.

For more information about widening participation activities for schools and colleges in central London boroughs, please contact the Widening Participation and Fair Access team at King's.
