The Green Reggie campaign is a King’s College London campaign aimed at students and staff, about the little changes we can all make to our lifestyles that will collectively make a significant impact on the College’s environmental impact.  This includes:

  • reducing our energy and water consumption through increased efficiency
  • decreasing the amount of waste we produce
  • reusing and recycling more

The campaign is about reducing environmental pollution, conserving the finite resources and providing a comfortable environment in our buildings for staff and students as well as saving money.   Our Carbon Management Plan includes a range of physical projects to reduce our carbon emissions and one project which is expected to make a significant contribution is raising environmental awareness throughout the College and achieving more sustainable behaviours from people.  Unless everyone in the College is aware of and acts upon the sustainable behaviours they can adopt we will not achieve the maximum potential of any technical projects.

The steering group for the campaign is the King’s Environmental Awareness Network, which includes KCLSU and representatives from across the College.  For more information about the campaign please browse through our web pages or contact Green Reggie
