FAPESP-King's College London Cooperation Agreement
The FAPESP (Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo) - King's College London cooperation agreement aims to support the development of joint research projects submitted by associated Brazilian and British researchers in all areas of knowledge in the sciences, social sciences and humanities, and may include the exchange of researchers and graduate students.
Applying for support
Projects are selected through regular calls for proposals. Area priorities for the calls for proposals may be established by the Joint Management Board, the committee charged with the management of the cooperation program. Calls for proposals normally take place every one to two years. Selected projects are normally funded for two years. This support can be extended for up to one extra year, especially when there are graduate students attached to the project.
On the British side, the proposal must be submitted only by researchers working within King’s College London. On the Brazilian side, the proposal must be submitted only by researchers working within higher education and research institutions located in the State of São Paulo.
