Director of the AHRI appointed
, Professor of English, has accepted the post of Director of the Arts & Humanities Research Institute (AHRI).
He is excited to be taking forward the AHRI's strategic development in challenging times, and welcomes his role in leading the AHRI to provide the important link between the School and King's Cultural Institute. Max is also looking to improving the research infrastructure for academic staff and research students in collaboration with colleagues in Arts & Humanities, constituent Centres of the AHRI, and across the College.
Jan Palmowski, Head of the School of Arts & Humanities, says:
"Max will be working closely with Catherine Boyle (School Head of Research), and with myself, as well as with the AHRI office, to give academic direction to our cross-School research activities, and I really look forward to working with him."
