USUKAA Book Bursary
The University of Sydney United Kingdom Alumni Association (USUKAA) invites applications from University of Sydney graduates for one of the Association’s Book Bursaries. The Bursaries are designed to support University of Sydney graduates intending to study at a Higher Education Institution in the United Kingdom. Sydney graduates who are already studying at a Higher Education Institution in the United Kingdom are also welcome to apply.
Each USUKAA Book Bursary includes: a cheque (in pounds sterling) to the value of £100 that can be used to purchase books or other educational resources; and two complimentary tickets to the USUKAA Summer Reception, where the bursary and a certificate will be presented to winners by the President of the Association. Applicants are asked to note the date of the 2011 USUKAA Summer Reception: it will take place on the evening of Thursday 14 July 2011.
Applications will be received up to the close of business on Friday 3 June 2011, and bursary awardees will be contacted by 20 June 2011. All applicants will be given free membership of the USUKAA for the current year. Winners will be determined by a committee appointed by USUKAA: decisions will be final, and no correspondence may be entered into.
