‘The intersection with the individual artist is where that creative and innovative space actually exists – that’s where a new narrative is unfolded and what we have to do is to create an environment that allows that to occur.’
- Frank Panucci, Creative Intersections, IFACCA, 2012
Creative Intersections is a pilot project managed by the Royal Society of Arts as part of the King’s Cultural Institute’s Creative Futures programme. This project is interested in what is needed to enable an environment of creative enquiry within partnerships comprised of academics and individual artists. These partnerships have led to small groups of participants from a wide range of disciplines to conduct experiments of mutual enquiry over the summer of 2012 that explore the connections between research and artistic practice in order to discover unexpected outcomes. Participants will share their findings with the audience in interactive ways. Please see our website for further information http://creativeintersections.wordpress.com/
