10 academic staff, 22 research students
The Centre for Hellenic Studies attracts grants from the Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC), Leverhulme Trust and Economic & Social Research Council (ESRC), as well as from charitable institutions in Greece and Cyprus and other funding bodies. Recently, Register Medicorum Medii Aevi attracted £50,000 (Mellon Foundation) and Sharing Ancient Wisdoms £664,000 (HERA - Humanities in the European Research Area).
Our staff regularly publish books and the Centre for Hellenic Studies publishes two academic series, one in conjunction with Ashgate, the other an in-house occasional series. These series form an invaluable record of research into all aspects of Hellenic Studies at King’s.
