Dear MA CCI and MA CC students,
I am very glad that you have taken up our offer and will join our MA programme. As MA admissions tutor I was impressed by the quality of your application and your enthusiasm about the chosen area of study.
The MA Cultural and Creative Industries is the largest and most prestigious programme of this kind in the world. You will find the programme intellectually stimulating and practically engaging. I am sure that it will eventually function as a major stepping stone for the development of your career or further study.
The MA/MSc Creative Cities is an innovative jointed programme between Culture, Media & Creative Industries and the Department of Geography. Combining expertises in both departments, this programme will allow you to critically investigate the intersections of city, culture and creativity and their implications. Both programmes are interdisciplinary and international, and I hope you will greatly benefit from their unique offerings.

For MA Cultural and Creative Industries students Orientation Week commences Monday 26 September. The schedule contains all the details you will need. The first MA/MSc Creative Cities Orientation event takes place immediately after enrolment on the afternoon of Friday 23 September. PhD students will meet for the first time on Tuesday 4 October. We very much look forward to meeting you and working with you over the coming year.
