Governance
The Comparative Literature Programme is governed by the Comparative Literature Management Committee (CLMC). This is made up of members of the academic and administrative staff, and student representatives. The latter attend the ‘Unreserved’ items of the CLMC meetings only. ‘Reserved’ items are confidential and only academic and administrative members of staff can be present for these.
The CLMC covers all aspects of the day to day running of the Programme, teaching strategy and practice at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, student and staff recruitment, and the organisation of events, such as conferences, workshops, seminars, and social events.
Academic staff also carry out a number of administrative roles on the Programme. For 2012-13 academic year these are:
