Responsibilities

planning, building, managing and maintaining the websites for the departments

promotion of the relevant departments and their academic programmes

managing strategies for the recruitment and retention of students through relevant portals, microsites and other social media.

managing the administration of the suite of programmes and modules offered by the DDH and CMCI
-
managing the local module selection/allocation process
-
providing comprehensive and authoritative advice for all taught students on relevant programme regulations
-
providing comprehensive administrative support to the relevant Programme Boards of Examiners in DDH and CMCI, and any another committee meetings
-
managing the taught assessments process for DDH and CMCI
-
day-to-day management of relationships with intercollegiate and inter-institutional and international partners
-
acting as Combined Studies co-ordinator for the students in their relevant departments
-
acting as Library Tutor for these departments
-
collating prize nominations for students in their departments
-
purchasing and procurement for the departments and the administrative offices as required

Education and Professional Background
Michelle joined King’s as the Undergraduate Administrator for Film Studies and American Studies in 2009. She joined the Departmental Professional Services team in October 2010 as Academic Services Officer before taking up her current role.
