Hazel Gardiner is Editor for the Corpus of Romanesque Sculpture in Britain and Ireland (www.crsbi.ac.uk). She is a researcher for the CRSBI (in England: Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Devon and London; and in Ireland: Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon and Galway), and also for the Corpus Vitrearum Medii Aevi GB (www.cvma.ac.uk) in Hertfordshire. She is also an object conservator. Until 2011 she was a member of the CHArt (the Computers and the History of Art) Committee and joint-editor, with Anna Bentkowska-Kafel and Trish Cashen, of the CHArt Yearbook (www.chart.ac.uk). She was Senior Project Officer for the AHRC ICT Methods Network (www.methodsnetwork.ac.uk) from 2005-8 and co-edited two publications in the series, Digital Research in the Arts and Humanities: Revisualising Visual Culture, (2010) with Professor Christopher Bailey (Leeds Metropolitan University) and Art Practice in a Digital Culture, (2010), with Dr Charlie Gere (Lancaster University). Until 2008 she coordinated the Art History module of the MA Digital Humanities at King's College London.
