2016 NSS results highlight Film Studies teaching and academic support

Final year Film Studies students have praised the department’s teaching and academic support in the 2016 National Student Survey.

94% of students say staff are have made the subject interesting and are good at explaining things, while 97% agree that staff are enthusiastic about what they are teaching.

92% say they have been able to contact staff when they need to and and 86% of students say the library resources and service are good enough for their needs.

Overall satisfaction with teaching is 94%.

The department will be working with Film Studies students over the coming months to build on these results and get students' ideas for how we can continue to improve your experiences studying with us. Thank you for your feedback.
