Modules in the Department of History

The Department of History offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules in History, ranging from the ancient to the contemporary world.

Level 4, 5 and 6 modules are typically for undergraduate students in their first, second and third years of study respectively, while MA students will take modules at level 7.

Below are lists of all the modules across the department.  For lists of modules running in a specific years, see the above lists. N.B. Not all modules are offered every year due staff leave and research projects.  This list includes non-running modules that may be relevant to student choices because of prohibited combinations.
