Research interests
Keiko Takeuchi has been researching the history of British factory legislation from the gender view point and is now preparing to publish a book. She has done some comparable studies with Japanese factory legislation. Her new research is on the history of women telecommunication workers in the U. K. from a long-term perspective, including the post second wave feminism era.
Biography
Keiko Takeuchi majoured in economics and received a BA from the University of Tokyo, Japan. She was awarded MPhil (History) with distinction and Ph.D (History) as well from the University of Manchester, England.
She has been teaching British modern history and gender studies in the Department of Cross Cultural Studies, Faculty of Humanities, Seikei University, Tokyo, Japan.
