BA History
I decided to study at King's because the outstanding History Department has a reputation for being one of the best in the UK. King's central location, right in the capital, offers opportunities few universities can rival.
The university experience in London is unlike any other; as well as enjoying traditional university pastimes like a night at the student union or playing sport in one of the many societies, I am also free to explore London's cultural wealth.
The History programme itself offers a wide range of subjects ranging from the medieval to the modern day. So far I have studied topics such as the troubles in Northern Ireland as well as the Roman Empire. The programme structure allows for great flexibility in learning which means I can fit a part-time job around my reading. This enables me to enjoy London's extensive and vibrant nightlife!
I'm originally from London so I had an idea of what to expect from university here. It's an exciting and welcoming city with a lively student atmosphere across the campuses. I have never regretted my decision to become a student at King's.
