I chose King’s because of its prestige, great location and appealing programme. I was particularly attracted to History as it will help me develop crucial skills such as critical and analytical thinking, while also providing me with invaluable understanding of current affairs.
The King’s history degree is unique because students are taught by some of the best academics in the world and classes take place on premises which themselves have a historical significance.
So far my best experience has been being involved with the numerous clubs and societies which offer something for everybody. King’s also provides incredible facilities, such as the Modern Language Centre where I am taking 2 language courses (Portuguese and Italian) to help me pursue a career in communications.
Being an international student, I was worried that living in another country and adapting to a different system would be very difficult. However, the staff at university has been incredibly helpful and has helped me make this experience the best time of my life!
