The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is Hong Kong's oldest and most esteemed research university. The University has grown to embrace almost all the major areas of teaching and is currently ranked 24th in the world according to the Times Higher Education 2009 world rankings.
Joint programme
The history departments of King's and HKU have developed a joint MPhil/PhD History programme, which will recruit students from September 2011.
