English
The English Department at King’s has a distinguished history of excellence in teaching English literature and language dating back to the nineteenth century. The English major comprises modules which build on the outstanding research undertaken by our academics. The range of options is extensive: from Anglo Saxon to contemporary literature, they focus on writing in diverse genres from across the English-speaking world.
Requirements
Students wishing to major in English must take 4AAEA002 Writing London in year 1.
Option Modules
In year 2, students must take 60 credits from the following list of which at least two must be from Band 1. Students studying abroad must take 30 credits from the following list at least one of which must be from Band 1. All modules are worth 15 credits.
