Level Assessment

Students can have their level assessed during assessment week: 26th- 29th Sep 2011, from 6-7.30pm. Assessment will take place in room K-1.20 at the Strand Campus.

Please view the Level Assessment Timetable to find the times when a tutor is available in the language you wish to study. More languages will be added over the coming weeks. There are no appointments for level assessment, so please bear with us in the queue and our tutors will assess you as soon as they are available – the wait for level assessment is usually short!

Taster courses

The Modern Language Centre will not be offering taster classes for the Evening Programme this year. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Transferring levels

It is important to us that you are placed in the correct level class. If you feel you need to transfer to a higher or lower level once your course has started, we will be happy to help you make this move. There is no charge for this. Please talk to your tutor, who is best placed to advise you of the most appropriate level, and then you should contact the MLC office to check on availability. This is best done at the beginning of term.
