Language Learning Advisors
Our Language Learning Advisors help provide the friendly learning environment for all wishing to engage in independant language learning in our Language Resources Centre. They help with user enquiries across a range of languages, covering a variety of resources such as books, periodicals, CDs, DVDs, and online resources. They also provide advice in respect of language support and offer speaking practice sessions in their native language.
Fosca is originally from Milan, Italy and is currently studying for a BA in International Relations at King’s College London. As well as being a native speaker of Italian and French, with some Spanish as well, she is also an avid writer and plays the ukulele.
Yousef was born in Egypt, grew up in Northern Ireland, and is now a third year medical student here at King’s College in London. In the future, he is hoping to learn another language to add to his native languages of Arabic and English, and, having completed his medical studies, to conduct research into why half his beard is ginger.
Maku was born in Japan, attended an international school in Tokyo for 11 years and is currently a Business and Management undergraduate student at King's. She loves being in a diverse environment like London and also enjoys sharing her Tokyo-oriented fashion styles and art creations through blogging. She is currently studying Spanish at beginner level and loves discovering delicious tapas dishes!
Julia Nicolli Soares
Born in Brazil, Julia is a fluent speaker of Portuguese and French and is currently in her second year of a BA in International Relations. Her favourite book is Pride and Prejudice and, in between her studies and also learning German, she has watched the film adaptation over 15 times.
