King’s offers a very diverse and culture-rich environment, which gives a great opportunity to meet interesting people from different backgrounds and to learn a lot about other nations.

Outside of my chosen degree I learn three foreign languages at King’s Modern Language Centre. It provides excellent facilities and well-trained lecturers, which are very important when one wants to learn a foreign language.

After finishing my degree I want to find a job in the media industry, in which good knowledge of communication is necessary.

I always knew that I wanted to study in London and an Open Evening in my local area helped me to decide that King’s was the University for me – the students were so friendly and informative and when I visited the University itself, I saw that they reflected the warm and sociable atmosphere which makes King’s such a great environment to live and study in.

Not only is my degree in French stimulating and enjoyable, my campus is right in the heart of an amazing metropolitan city, which means that when lectures are over there is an exciting variety of things to do; whether it’s social events with the KCL French Society or learning Italian in the Modern Language Centre, the thing I love most about living in London is the feeling of possibility that is everywhere you go.
