Overview

This programme is specifically aimed at beginners who wish to improve their speaking and listening skills in Modern Standard Arabic. Presented in an attractive format, it comprises over 150 exercises, quizzes and tests across a wide range of everyday topics (see below). The e-learning resources includes grammar help pages and cultural information. “Very motivating and helpful, makes learning a language fun and interesting” (student's comment).

Description

The interactive exercises provide immediate feedback and will improve students’ listening and speaking skills rapidly. Students are able to record themselves and practise their pronunciation with the help of our integrated voice tools. “Being able to listen and then record your own voice is fantastic” (student’s comment).

Arabic Pronunciation for Beginners is delivered entirely online and can be used as consolidation material for a face to face course or for self-study. The programme guarantees complete flexibility as it can be accessed from any part of the world over twelve months, once students have been issued a username and password to log on to our system.

How to enrol

To register for Arabic Pronunciation for Beginners, please go to the Short Course Online Prospectus and select the "Apply" tab. 

Please note: these online resources are best used on PCs and Macs. They have limited or no functionality on Android or iOS at this stage.
