Anneli Jefferson

Dr Anneli Jefferson

Visiting Research Fellow



Anneli studied Philosophy and English at the Heinrich-Heine Universität Düsseldorf and qualified as a secondary school teacher in 2004. She received her MPhil and PhD in Philosophy from King’s College London in 2006 and 2010 respectively. Besides her visiting research fellowship she currently holds a post doc in the Institute for Neuroscience in Medicine at the Research Centre Jülich, Germany.

Anneli’s PhD thesis dealt with the topic of Semantic Holism. Current research interests include moral psychology, the relation between mental disorders and moral responsibility, and the concepts of function and dysfunction in the biological sciences.
