ancient commentators project

Begun in 1987, the Ancient Commentators on Aristotle project at King's has been described by The Times as 'a massive scholarly endeavour of the highest importance'.

The department houses a number of people who work on dynamic syntax under the leadership of Professor Ruth Kempson. This group collaborates closely with a number of scholars in other institutions. Visit their homepage here.

One of six groups across the School, organised by the Centre for Humanities & Health as part of the College £1.95m Wellcome-Trust funded project, under the direction of Dr David Galloway, Dr Elselijn Kingma, Professor MM McCabe and Professor David Papineau.

Led by Profesor Peter Adamson, this Leverhulme trust funded research project into natural philosophy in the Islamic world.
