Additional information

Choosing your modules

First year undergraduates and students on the Graduate Diploma will be invited to choose their modules upon arrival in September.

Students entering their second and third year will be asked to select their modules in February of the academic year before.

As a rule of thumb, the credit levels are equivalent to which year of study a module should be taken in, ie

  • level 4 modules should be taken in year one
  • level 5 modules in year two
  • level 6 modules in year three / (predominantly) in the Graduate Diploma).

However, the Programme specifications allow for some leeway in this, with permission of your programme director.

You should always consult the programme specifications for your degree before submitting your module choices.

Can I change my module choices?

It is possible to amend your module choices during the first two weeks of the teaching year. Guidance on the process for requesting module changes can be found in the handbook.

After 12 October 2012 (2012-13 academic year), no further amendments can be made.
