PhD funding from Arts & Humanities
King’s College London is pleased to announce the availability of up to 35 fully funded PhD studentships in the Arts and Humanities. One of the largest allocation of studentships in the UK, these are available to students from the UK and the EU.
The awards comprise up to
21 King’s - AHRC studentships, and a further
13 studentships available through the Graduate School. For all subjects covered by AHRC funding, the extra studentships will be known as ‘King’s AHRC Doctoral Award Studentships’. Those subjects not currently covered by AHRC funding (German, Comparative Literature and Culture, Media and Creative Industries) will be known as the ‘School of Arts & Humanities Graduate School Studentships’. All studentships include a Graduate Departmental Studentship, as awardholders will be asked to teach classes, or contribute to the academic life of the department in equivalent ways, for at least two of the three years of their award.
These studentships present an addition to postgraduate funding available to students within King’s College London, including grants to organize workshops or conferences, and for international travel, including to our international partner universities. They will further enhance the position of King’s College London as a premier university in the Arts and Humanities, with one of the largest postgraduate cohorts nationwide.
