The Research Assessment Exercise in 2008 confirmed the world-class standard of research undertaken in the Faculty of Arts & Humanities and its leading international reputation. The Faculty  has the most prestigious and diverse cluster of subjects of its kind in London and is host to a broad range of research centres which host a wide range of subject-specific and interdisciplinary research seminars. The Faculty has a thriving research environment and has one of the largest populations of postgraduate students in the country .
