October 2011

King’s College London has been rated joint first for student satisfaction in the areas of Pharmacology, Toxicology and Pharmacy in the latest national survey. With an overall satisfaction rate of 97%, the National Student Survey put King’s in first place above all other Russell Group institutions in these subject areas.

The National Student Survey (NSS) is an annual survey of undergraduates across the UK. It is commissioned by the Higher Education Funding Council for England and is conducted by an independent body, Ipsos-Mori.

The NSS asks final year undergraduates to provide feedback on their courses relating to aspects of the student learning experience including teaching on the course, assessment and feedback, learning resources and personal development.

Results of the survey can be found here.

Further details of awards won by staff and students in the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics can be found here.
