Pharmaceutical Medicine
A new suite of courses designed for healthcare professionals or scientists working in, or planning to work in, the field of clinical drug development. Each course covers aspects of the clinical development process, from early studies to post-marketing activities. They will enhance your knowledge and skills in clinical research, drug regulation and drug safety.
Pharmaceutical Medicine is the scientific discipline for the discovery, development, evaluation, registration, monitoring and medical marketing of medicines for the benefit of patients and the public. These courses will be of interest to qualified doctors and pharmacists, as well as specialist clinical professionals working in the pharmaceutical industry. They are also suitable for scientists working in industry, academia and licensing authorities, or in the public health service, who have an interest in translational medicine.
Each course is taught over four or five consecutive days and assessed independently. Completion of a combination of these courses can lead to award of a postgraduate certificate, diploma or MSc degree.
