RWE npower Future Leaders Challenge
The Inter-university competition, Future Leaders, that we run each year is getting better each year and this year we are changing the destination to The Amazon Rainforest in Brazil
It tasks teams of students to run a sustainable project on their campus and produce a video detailing their project - so for example this years winners were from St Andrews university and their project consisted of driving pedi-cabs around their campus during fresher's week offering lifts to students who not knowing their way around the campus would usually grab a taxi. It was a fabulous project and the video that they made is available to watch here- http://vimeo.com/52739940
The prize for the participants, for the last three years, has been dog sledding in the arctic circle but this year we have turned up the heat and will be taking them to the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil working on a community project.
Competition Now Open - Closing Date 10 May.
The competition offers the students an amazing prize plus an internship in the company and offers great employability skills to all taking part.
