Examination information for candidates
Examination candidates should read the 'Examination Information for Candidates 2014-15' document prior to examinations.
By submitting an examination script candidates are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these rules. Please follow all instructions unless specifically told to do otherwise.
Mitigating circumstances/NEA procedures
We do ask that you make every effort to attend your examinations and, therefore, advise that you consider your journey in advance and allow for additional time to travel to your examination venue.
The standard policy of being permitted to enter an examination for up to one hour after it has started will still apply, but extra time will not be provided. Should you arrive late due to travel difficulties, this information will be noted on your script.
If on the day of your examination you consider you may be late, you are advised to continue with your journey, even if you think you will arrive more than one hour after the examination has started. On arrival at the examination venue you will be asked to document the location from which you started your journey; your route including details of your tube journey, and details of the specific travel difficulties faced. You will then be provided with a note confirming that you did arrive, and at what time. This can be used to supplement a NEA application.

Should you be unable to reach the examination venue at all due to the travel disruption, and you subsequently submit an NEA, please ensure that you document the location from which you started your journey (or would have started your journey, had you been able to); your planned route including details of your tube journey, and details of the specific travel difficulties faced on the day.
For impartial and independent advice on completing a NEA form, please contact the KCLSU Advice service:
Details on the tube lines that will be running full, partial or no services will be available via the Transport for London website: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/
