Am I eligible to attend?
If you are due to complete your award between 1 August and 1 January you are eligible to attend the winter graduation ceremonies. If you are due to complete your award between 2 January and 31 July you are eligible to attend the summer graduation ceremonies. Graduate research students please refer to the left hand links for further information.
If you are unable to attend the relevant ceremonies you are entitled to defer to the next set of ceremonies. Students are only permitted to defer once, and must do so through the Graduation tab in OneSpace Student Records once booking is open.
If you expect to receive your result before the next ceremonies take place, but will not receive it until shortly after the booking deadline, please do not wait to find out your result before booking.
In the event that you do not complete your course successfully we will refund you the cost of any tickets purchased - however, if you wait for your result and miss the booking deadline, we may not be able to fit you in to a ceremony.
Medical and Dental students may attend either the Southwark ceremonies in July or the ceremonies in the following January. The ceremonies at the Barbican Centre in July are not open to medical and dental students.
