Cold Storage Management Policy »14 August 2015
This document should guide KCL research staff on how to manage their cold storage equipment (liquid nitrogen and residential cold storage are not included). It includes instructions on sample management, risk assessment, procurement, maintenance, and importantly the facilities which house the equipment. Any refurbishment or construction of freezer spaces should consult this policy. A pro forma on emergency actions to take in the case of a break down are appended.
