The College's Race Equality Policy and Action Plan 2010-2013 sets out to promote diversity and equality of opportunity with regard to race; support the College's commitment to targeting race discrimination; and to identify and remove any barriers to progress. The policy's associated Action Plan will set out the actions the College will take to meet these goals, along with any targets and responsibilities in respect of race equality which will be used to help measure the College's progress towards implementation. The Policy and Action Plan were developed in consultation with the Black and Minority Ethnic Staff Network, and other College staff and students. Approved by Principal's Central Team, October 2010.
