The King’s Dental Institute is the largest, most influential centre of excellence in the UK for oral and dental research, undertaking cutting-edge basic and clinical research. Our international reputation attracts students and staff from across the world, and our research programmes are delivered by leaders in their fields.

The Institute is experienced in collaborating with industry on aspects of research from basic science through to clinical research with many dental companies. The Institute is proud of its many successful partnerships with industry and places this work at the centre of its research activities.
We have been awarded grants from the UK research funding councils, including the BBSRC and TSB, giving us the opportunity to provide real benefit through knowledge transfer with our industry.
