PROFESSOR AWARDED ITALIAN CIVIL HONOUR

Lucy Di Silvio, Professor in Tissue Engineering in the Biomaterials, Biomimetics & Biophotonics Research Group at the Dental Institute has been awarded the highly prestigious Ordine della Stella d'Italia (The Order of the Star of Italy).

ADVANCED ANTERIOR AESTHETICS AWARDED

Pippa Saul-Harrah, a third year BDS student at the Dental Institute, has won the King’s/GC UK Advanced Anterior Aesthetics Prize for 2012. The Certificate of Merit was presented to Edward Li.

Fourth year dental student Srishti Datta has been selected to represent the Dental Institute at the BDA/DENTSPLY Student Clinician Awards 2013.

On 6 November, there was a final celebration of the Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) programme; a five-year research programme with eight large projects including the Dental Institute’s hapTEL project.
