Generation of biological replacement teeth using immortalized cells
1st Supervisor: Professor Paul Sharpe
2nd Supervisor: Professor Agi Grigoriadis
Description of project
The identification of sources of human epithelial and mesenchymal cells that retain a capacity to form teeth in combination following culture is key to developing ways of generating biological teeth. This project will investigate the odontogenic properties of specific immortalized cell populations.
Duration of project: 4 years
