On this audio tour, you are invited to consider your own views on mental health and reflect on wellbeing as you are guided around The National Gallery. Explore paintings and painters in ways that may be unexpected, and reflect on experiences that promote greater understanding of our mental health

As you explore paintings around the Gallery, by Van Gogh, Cima, Crivelli and Joseph Wright of Derby, the audio tour will improve your understanding of mental health. We hope the tour will increase openness in conversations about mental health in UK society and provide an opportunity to break down long-held stigmatising views about people with mental health issues.

Developed in partnership with King's College London, alongside a group of young people including some affected by mental health issues and The McPin Foundation. The audio tour has been supported by Antenna International. The Medical Research Council, part of UK Research and Innovation, has generously funded the tour.

This tour has 10 stops, which can be visited in any order and takes about 40 minutes to complete.
