King’s maintains global standing
King’s has maintained its standing among the top 25 universities in the world for the third year running. The College is ranked in 23rd place in the Times Higher Education-QS World University Rankings 2009.

Free Language Courses
The Modern Language Centre and Graduate School at King’s have launched an innovative scheme, beginning in October 2009, to offer PhD and Masters students the opportunity to sign up for an assessed language module free of charge. Find out more about the scheme here.

King’s College London has received national funding for more than 170 PhD and master’s studentships, making it one of the UK’s most successful higher education institutions taking part in a new scheme.

King’s major investment in PhDs
The College is offering 50 PhD studentships in the Health Schools, following its success in attracting externally funded awards combined with a major investment of College funds. Awards are mainly available for four years, and include an annual stipend and tuition fees.
