New MSc: China & Globalisation
The MSc China & Globalisation is a new programme offering students a theoretically informed understanding of contemporary China and focussing on the interactions of political, economic and cultural factors for sustainable development. It is ideal for those planning to make contemporary China a key focus in their career.

International welcome
International Students' Welcome and Orientation 2010
The programme for this years International Students' Orientation run by the Student Advice and International Support team is now available to view online.
 
The event will be held from 15-17 September and is designed to help you adjust to London and make friends before term starts. Those who have attended in the past have found it a very valuable induction experience. The booking form goes live on 1 June.

New master’s bursaries available
The Graduate School at King’s has announced the availability of bursaries for a number of new master’s that are due to recruit for the first time in September 2010.

UN
New MA: Conflict Regulation in Divided Societies is a recently launched specialist research-led programme which allows students to understand the theory of conflict regulation in divided societies and the international relations that shape and determine their political processes. Graduates of this programme could go on to work in such organisations as the UN.

The Graduate School at King’s has announced a number of new or significantly altered studentships for those considering studying for a PhD or Master's at the College.

Free language courses
The Modern Language Centre and Graduate School at King’s have launched an innovative scheme, beginning in October 2009, to offer PhD and Masters students the opportunity to sign up for an assessed language module free of charge. Find out more about the scheme here.
