As a graduate student new to King’s College London, there will be many things to consider and new challenges to face.To help your transition to graduate study go as smoothly as possible we would like to draw your attention to resources and information relevant to you as a new graduate student.
The Compass team, at your student support centre, have prepared various web pages in consultation with students and colleagues across the College. They are designed to help new students to settle in when they arrive at King’s. We would like to highlight those pages which are particularly relevant to you as a new graduate student.

For general information on Settling In at King’s please view the following webpages about the services and resources available to King’s students.
If you are an international graduate student and want to know how to open a bank account, or are just interested in how to manage your Finances as a student.
For general information on the Enrolment procedure. If you are attending a main enrolment session you will have been informed on what day this will be in your offer letter or at a later date by your School Office*. Depending on when you arrive you may attend a smaller School or campus based enrolment session, this will certainly be the case if you are a mid-sessional starter. Your School will provide you with information regarding this.
The Graduate School provides graduate research students with their main induction, taught graduate programme inductions are usually organised at School and/or departmental level, some of these inductions and additional research student inductions are listed on Induction & Events. Please also look at the events listed as some or all may be useful or of interest to you.
International contains information on living and studying in London and country specific community guides to help you feel like studying in London is not such a long way from home.
