Supervisory Excellence Awards 2011/12 - Results
The Supervisory Excellence Awards are designed to recognise and reward postgraduate supervisors for the outstanding supervision and support that they offer to research students at King’s College London.
Results
The Graduate School are pleased to announce the results of this year’s Supervisory Excellence Awards (SEA).
The awards go to:
Each successful supervisor will be awarded £1,000, which will be paid into their College research account.

The College presents an award to an overall winner of the SEA and for this year it was agreed that the College award will go to Professor Rob Imrie from the School of Social Science & Public Policy.
Professor Vaughan Robinson, Director of the Graduate School, commented 'Now that the Supervisory Excellence Awards have become embedded within College life we received an exceptional set of nominations. This says a great deal about the dedication of King's PhD supervisors and the esteem in which their students hold them. It was extraordinarily difficult to select the winners. They will now help us spread best practice during the coming academic year’

- Dr Sanjukta Deb, Dental Institute
- Ms Joanna Murray, Institute of Psychiatry
- Professor Andrea Biondi, Law
- Dr Leonie Taams, Medicine
- Dr Mohammad Reza Nakhai, Natural & Mathematical Sciences
- Professor Ian Norman, Nursing & Midwifery
- Professor Rob Imrie, Social Science & Public Policy
