4-year BBSRC Studentships
Applications are now closed
The 1 year MRes programme, which has been agreed as an appropriate curriculum for an MRes degree, is comprised of three 12-week mini-projects in three different disciplines, a series of specialist workshops and a library dissertation. During May-June of their MRes year students will be able to choose, in collaboration with the Steering Group, the subject and supervisor with which they wish to do their PhD. Students will also be involved in the activities of the Centre for Integrative Biomedicine, and the events that will be organised during the year. This may also include occasional attendance at external meetings. Following selection of their PhD projects, students will complete a 6-10 week literature review with their selected PhD supervisor during the period of July - September.
The student will work on their PhD project on a full time basis for years 2-4 within the Division of their chosen speciality. The student will also be encouraged to participate in the public communication of sciences.
